Community Colors 5K Fun Run

Online Registration is now closed.   In person registration may still be completed beginning at 8:30 am on race day.

Join United Way of Lapeer County for the first annual color race that celebrates healthy living and the power of giving, advocating and volunteering.  The fun begins on September 13th at 10:00 a.m., starting at Rowden Park, and following the linear trail through forests over ponds, through Audubon Park and back to the finish line party in Rowden Park. Spaces are filling up fast, so be sure to complete your registration today!
Never been in a color race before? Get ready for the most colorful fun-filled day of your life!  The untimed event has no winners or prizes, but runners are showered with colored powder at stations along the run. There’ll be a great high-energy finish line party with more color and prizes! So bring your friends and family out for this amazing color blast event where you'll get blasted with colored powder while you run through beautiful Rowden Park, and along Lapeer City sidewalks.

Don’t want to run? We encourage everyone to meet at the finish line to welcome runners and walkers with a burst of color (but beware, you’ll be covered with color too.) Bags of color will be available for sale so everyone can join in the fun. Or you can join the volunteer team. Sign up fast, because spots are filling quickly and we have a limited number of shirts available. This event will be limited to the first 1,000 participants So grab your girlfriends, your bros’ and your family because you’ll have a blast!
